What a great night in Vernal, Utah. Those Mormons know how to party. It was another perfect weather morning and I decide to head north to get back to the line that I drew from Florida to Seattle. As much as I wanted to finish US 40, I felt I wanted to explore more remote areas rather than take on park City and the Salt Lake areas. Places I had been before.

Some amazing views on this part of the trip. I stop for some views, some cows, and the Flaming Gorge Dam. I unwind the car for the first time on the trip and had a scare when my oil pressure dropped low at the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, but ol’ Rogue hung in there and this video ends at US 30/I-80 where I stop for fuel and coffee and to make sure I didn’t blow a head gasket.
